Mod Podged Broom

The ugly green broom

Add scrapbook paper

Some Mod Podge

and just keep applying over and over

I went ahead and took the plunge and just did it, I mod podged my broom and it's so cute! Kenzie came downstairs saw it and said I want to sweep with it and of course I had to let her! LOL! Then Kylan comes down and says you scrapbooked your broom and I want to use it, of course I let him too! If I would have known that was all I had to do to get some work around the house out of them I would have done this a LONG time ago! At our home school mom's retreat we are having a broom makeover party (I think) and/or my new friend Cari might be having a broom party fun!

When you are finished enjoy your cute broom! I don't like the way the pink turned out on mine (I used pink tissue paper) and I think it would be easier to use wrapping paper instead of scrapbook paper but I'm pleased overall.

Awesome! You did it! I had thought of using either tissue paper or wrapping paper. I was gonna do a little craft night and do brooms, but then thought of doing it at the Mom's Retreat for a fun and crazy little craft. Yours looks sooo cute! LOVE it!
