Happy Gotcha Day Kylan
Trying to shave like daddy 2004
Today is a day to celebrate that Kylan has been with his Forever Family for 8 years! It's hard to believe that it's already been 8 years but it has! Time flies when you have kids that keep you busy. What a blessing he's been to our family we can't imagine life without his sweet smile or his ornery ways. Here are some pics of him growing up over the past 8 yrs. I also want to let you know that if you are on the Internet searching for adoption info here is a link to Dillon International they are the adoption agency that we used 9 yrs ago to adopt Makenzie and 8 yrs ago to adopt Kylan. They truly were a blessing to our family and helped change our lives forever. Once you get the child home they don't just leave you either they offer post adoption and pre adoption support and they also have Korean Camp during the summer, cooking classes, support groups and many other things that help make the adoption option a very smooth transition! If you have any questions please email me at kenziekylanmom1@cox.net.

St Therese Parish
One Tuesday per month Makenzie is in Girls Club so Kylan and I have to find something fun to do together, it's our mommy/son date time. Today we decided to go geo-caching and it took us out to St. Therese Parish in Collinsville and WOW were we surprised!!! It's gorgeous out there, beautiful pond, flowers, and the adobe building looks like it was taken from NM (where I was born) and dropped here because you would never find that much green, lush, vegetation in NM. We will have to come back sometime to take pictures, I'm sure this would be a gorgeous backdrop for wedding pics, senior pics or even school pics.
Oh, by the way we DID find the geo-cache here! Kylan found it, not me!
My friend Cathy was telling me that sometimes they go have a Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Therese Parish and that it's so good and that the inside of the Parish is just as beautiful as the outside.
Owasso Historical Museum
This window was taken from the Mennonite Church that is now Discovery Bible Fellowship where we attend church
This month has been full of field trips to museums and as we were driving down Main St. in Owasso we wondered why we haven't ever been to our towns museum? HMMMM, we better stop now because we saw the open sign on the sidewalk. The Owasso Historical Museum is a neat little museum and the ladies were so helpful and told us a lot of information about the things we were looking at. We will be back to enjoy it when we have more time.

Treasure Hunting
For years our family has enjoyed letterboxing and now that we have these neat iPhones with a GPS in them we decided to try Geocaching and we are hooked! It has become our new family hobby and we've had so much family time hiking and enjoying this spring weather plus the fact that you get to pick a "treasure" out of most caches but you also need to bring a "treasure" to leave for someone else. I had the kids go through their rooms and find little things that we could put in the caches and they came up with a little container just full of "treasures" that they don't want anymore.
WARNING If you plan on going geocaching in Owasso don't look at the pics because they will give away some of the cache sites!
