Firestation field trip
On September 9th we had a field trip to the firestation. We had about 15 kids in our group which was a good size and the firemen let the kids crawl inside the firetruck and the ambulance and they also gave them all firehats. The kids had lots of questions and thankfully the firemen where very patient and took lots of time to show us everything including the kitchen, the sleeping room and all of their equipment.

Reasor's field trip

On Monday we had a field trip with our home school group and we had a great turnout of 20 children and a bunch of mommies! We toured all of the departments of the grocery store and the kids were even taken into the freezers and the meat cutting dept. Kylan told me that this was an AWESOME field trip! Reasor's was so great they made name tags for all of the kids and had a group photo taken and then developed the photos for all of us and at the end of the tour they let the kids play on the cash registers and then fed them a cookie and capri sun snack! For more info about the store go to Reasor's website!

President's Day at the zoo

This was the first time the new lioness and the lion were put outside together!

Charlotte's Web is what Makenzie was pretending to play on! She climbed up the rock wall like it was nothing and she kept doing it over and over...making me just a little nervous!
What is Kylan doing? Your guess is as good as mine...he's a crazy kid!

On President's day the kids and Jennifer went to the Tulsa zoo. It was a lot of fun. Kylan is studying turtles this week so we enjoyed all of the different turtles and tortoises at the zoo. We brought clipboards and paper and the kids made drawings of the turtles and they said it was so much fun we will have to do it with every animal that they study!
