On the way home

Poor kid was worn out!
Makenzie's so quiet and just played her gameboy.
On every road trip he's always asking for a large pickle and we found one at a gas station this time!
Normally we take the suburban on car trips because it has so much room and the flip down TV for the kids. Well, we were trying to save money on gas so we took the car. It was cramped and we were packed to the limit...I couldn't bring any of my scrapbook stuff : ( but hey we saved over $200 in gas by taking the car.

Boy howdy, you were in a commenting mood today....or you finally got a few spare moments to yourself. Let's see if I can remember everything....my favorite meal is anything I can throw in my crockpot...family loves roasted chicken or chicken legs. I think you should do a giveaway.....so I can WIN!!! Wasn't that a riot about scaring my daughter....I'm so mean. They try their best to scare me, it doesn't really work anymore unless it deals w/ a live thing....like snake, spider, anything that stings...lol. I am trying the Pioneer Woman's baked steak tonight since I sort of forgot to put turkey in fridge... :(. Then I laid out too much round steak and now have enough for CHILI VERDES for tomorrow. Now that is an easy recipe...round steak, ro-tel, chopped chilis. Put in crockpot ALL DAY. Serve on tortillas and top w/ velveeta/rotel dip. Ok, hubby on way home, need to look busy...ba haaaaaa. Talk to you later.
