Chore Wars

I had forgotten about Chore Wars until a friend was asking me how I trained my children to do their chores without complaint.  We started ours doing chores when they were about 5, found the game when they were about 9 and 10 and now that they are 16 and 17 they just do their chores without playing the game and without complaining. It's a fun way for younger kids that like to compete to get their chores done. We played with other home school families when my kiddos were younger and made prizes once the whole group reached certain levels. It takes some work to get a group going but is fun and the kids are really helpful once they realize they're competing against their peers or even siblings.  If you're looking for a fun way to get your children involved in doing chores this could be just what you're looking for!  Here's my post from 7 years ago when we first started playing chore wars http://www.justwedeminute.com/2010/10/chore-wars.html
